What Skokie Drivers Should Know
For Skokie residents there is no trip to plan. The lot sits at 9101 Terminal Ave just south of Dempster Street by the Edens Expressway, a few minutes from downtown Skokie on Oakton Street, the Skokie Swift Yellow Line stop, and the Westfield Old Orchard area. Some customers walk over from the surrounding neighborhood and drive home in the car they bought.
Skokie is one of the most diverse villages in Illinois, and the buyers who walk in reflect that: longtime residents replacing a family car, new arrivals buying their first vehicle in this country, and commuters who want something dependable for the Edens every morning. The owner, Jerry, works the lot himself. We buy in the $5,000 to $15,000 range, and the established lenders we partner with serve the full range of credit situations, each application reviewed on its own merits. In stock today: 11 cars, $5,450 to $11,950.
Buying close to home should also mean accountability, and that is the point of the process here. Every vehicle gets an independent mechanical inspection with a written report and a CARFAX history, and the price on the listing is the price on the contract with no dealer fee attached. Registration is processed at the desk and metal Illinois plates are mounted before you leave, so even a buyer who lives five blocks away never has to stand in line at a Secretary of State facility.
